About Pocket Haus
Who we are & why we started building tiny homes.
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Mac attended Stephen F. Austin State University, then in the wake of the events of 2001, he joined the U.S. Army. After 14 years of service, Mac returned to Texas to work for a prominent home builder in the DFW metroplex. But it wasn’t until he came across a news segment about homeless veterans, and the community that rallied around them by building a tiny home village, that he discovered his love for tiny homes and a desire to give back.
Today, Mac resides in Fort Worth, Texas, with his wife and son. He combines his knowledge of home building with a commitment to making a difference, crafting a new perspective on small spaces that make an impact in a big way
